[9/28/14] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2014 in Rotterdam. Clear yellow-golden. Aroma of yeast, some fruity esters, spiciness and light hoppy notes. Sweetish flavor, yeasty and fruity, with mildly bitterish fruity hops and an acidic hint. Medium-bodied.

[9/28/14] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2014 in Rotterdam. Clear pale golden. Aroma of wheat, spice and some fruity hops. Flavor has wheat, fruity hops, a bit of spiciness and a slightly bitterish finish. Pretty light-bodied. Quite nice and refreshing.

[9/28/14] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2014 in Rotterdam. Deep amber-brown with a beige head. Nice hoppy aroma with tropical fruits and some roast. Bitter flavor with roast and fruity hops. Medium-bodied, well-carbonated. Nice.

Bottle at BAF 14 . Pours rather clear white . Small white head. Smell is fruity, bit bitter. Taste is bitter, green , vegetable, fruity . A lesser favourite one of the Prototypes .

’Tarwetripel’ ("imperial hoppy wit", as they call it) for Beer Project Brussels, with loose, off-white head and brigt ’old gold’ colour. Aroma of lemon pie, gooseberries, butter, yoghurt, sourish wheat, floral hops. Dryingly sourish taste, vivid fruitiness, citrus, buttery and wheaty, slick, citrussy hops in the finish from the Simcoe. A one-off and apparently an attempt to hybridize witbier with double IPA.

Bottle sampled at Kaapse Post Borefts festival. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, raisin, caramel, overripe dark fruit. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
