Description
The idea of having our own brewery has been in our heads since we launched our first beer, The Black Pot, but we really started thinking about it in the beginning of 2018.

Living in a small town near the Ceahlau mountain means fresh air, great views, many things to do (especially in summer) but there is not much social life. So, this was our first question: build a brewery in the area through which we make the decision to stay here or move to a big city where you have many more opportunities, give up on this idea / dream and continue life? You already know the answer… 😊

330ml bottle, batch 2, from a trade outside of RB, cheers Neil. Aroma of tonka, chocolate, roast malts. Taste of rich tonka, dark chocolate, very roasty, a little vanilla, slightly spicy (cinnamon?) which must be from the tonka, quite bitter. Full bodied. Great.

Bottle revisit. Rich dark malts, a little dark malt cream and rich dark chocolate. Touch of chocolate cake. The Marsala Barrel provides a sticky rich fruity sweetness on the back end. Finishes smooth with some alcohol spice coming forward. This is a decadent affair.
