This one smells like bitter hopsm a IIpa. Tastes bitter, farmy, can definitly detect the saison farmlike yeast here. Apparently they used the same yeast here as in their saison. Has some hay, some rich tangerine in the taste. Got this bottle fresh on the day of their first retail release. Hope to see more of this, its better than their lost river. Bottle from brewpub.

Pours clody amber with a high carbonation taste and head. Smells a little like cider and cane sugar. Theres some heavy tartiness in the taste and some grapefruit bitter at the end. Bitterness sticks around for a decent bit. Lots of citrus in this one as well. The palate is mid to full. Good but I havent had a lot of biere de gardes to compare it to. They also call it a On tap at brewpub.

Wow, this is a frsh one. You can smell it in the fruity, almost cherry aroma that blends with the bitter hops and florals. Pours a golden amber without much head or tracing. The taste is a little less interesting than the initial aroma promises but its still pretty good. A hard, crisp bitter finish. This one is good, but probably inferior to many of Bellwoods other otherings. On tap at brewpub.

great robust aroma of deep roasted malt. The taste follows through with caramel, coffee bitter and a note of raisin even. The after taste that fills up the first breath is potent. A little tracing and black to dark brown poor with durable ceam head. This place continues to surprise me with its quality brews. Easily the consistent top in Ontario with the few beers they ve made so far. On tap at brewpub.

Amber w a slight haze. Aroma is minty w other herbs. Lots if sweet sugary malts, too. Moderate bitterness and lots of pale malt sweetness. Earthy hops and finishes with a little extra bitterness. Decent example, glad it is not too chewy.

Amber, lovely colour and almost bright. Bright, foresty aroma with slightly biscuity malt. Snappy with lots of bitterness, and foresty, slightly herbal hops. Lean and mean with the malts and I like that. Balanced and refreshing. My kind of IPA.

Hazy amber-brown. Not much head. Very fruity and perfumey aroma and phenols. Sweet and fruity with sticky sugars. Fairly intense. Probably, I would prefer this to be earthier and with deeper fruits.

Reddish dark brown. Thick head. Aroma is chocolatey and a little nutty. Rich and chocolatey, with malty intensity reminscent of a baltic but without the subtle fruits or alcoholic intensity. Dryish finish, but w some residual dark sugars. Probably better to think of it as a strong porter rather than baltic.
