Description
DEYA Brewing Company is an independent brewery in Cheltenham, UK. We focus on hoppy beers, lagers, traditional UK styles and mixed fermentation ales. We strive to make world class beer.
Theo founded DEYA in 2015 having become obsessed with American beer and beer culture. In January 2016, Theo picked up the keys to a 4,000ft2 industrial unit in Cheltenham. Once the 10bbl brewery kit was installed, the burgeoning DEYA team dedicated themselves to producing the most delicious pale ales, IPAs and hoppy beers that they could. In 2017, following more national and international acclaim, brewing capacity is doubled with the addition of three 40HL fermentation vessels. In March 2018, a 1000 cans per hour canning line was purchased to complement the four new 40HL fermentation vessels that were to be added in October. This move takes capacity to 3,500HL. In 2019 year we are expanding into a new 25,000 sq/ft premises and installing a bespoke 40hl 4 vessel brewhouse allowing us to significantly increase capacity.
We take a holistic approach to business, striving to be the best employer we possibly can be, while operating in a fair, sustainable and human driven way.

Can thanks to Adrian. It pours hazy dirty gold with a small white head. The aroma is quite perfumed, candy, refreshers, pear, apple and spice. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, mellow bitterness, wheat, pear, apple, straw, hay, bit of spice, orange peel, fruity tartness and bread with a dry, sort of grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok for style.

Can from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home, Saturday 1st July 2017 Hazy yellow/dirty caramel colour with a white head. A little hoppy on nose when first poured, this soon calms and the Belgian yeast starts to push forward. Nice wheaty and hoppy interplay the orange also shows but less so. This is a good Witbier, really pleasant, Deya really know their onions. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cock Tavern. Keg. Very hazy gold - orange beer, decent cream colour head. Light nose of pine and mango. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Light creamy sweet malts. Mild hop spice. Decent mango and ripe orange, mild tangerine. Finishes with pine and hop spice. Pretty drinkable.

Cock Tavern. Can. Very hazy gold beer, good cream colour hops. Palate is smooth and a little dry, decent carbonation. Sweetish smooth malts. Ripe orangey fruits, some mild hop skunk and spice. Light dry finish. Spicy orange linger. Itโs decent but slightly staid and lacking a wow factor.

Craft Islington bottle share. Thanks to Dave for the can. Very hazy yellow - gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and smooth, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft and sweetish pale malts. Light pine and mild spice. Little spritzy orange - lemon. Light dry finish. Not that honey!

500ml can from Favourite Beers. Murky opaque orange brown colour with a creamy beige head, lovely lacing and strong retention. Aroma: sweet tropical fruits, citrus, mandarin. Taste: juicy tropical fruits, mandarin, citrus, sweet malts, bready, light spice, pith. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, very easy drinking. Fantastic beer, but too similar to Steady Rolling Man.
