Sampler at Pinocchio’s in Media. Bright yellow gold color. Small white ring. Floral hop aroma is contagious. Bittersweet hops upfront. Notes of pine, lemon, dark greens and grapefruit. Hi nuts of black pepper on backend. Remarkably smooth and approachable. Tastes like hop candy. Delicious!

Draft shaker pint at The Highroller Lobster Co. in Portland, Maine. The pour is a slightly cloudy black brown black, nitro settling, building up to a one inch light tan, lasting head. The aroma is malty, creamy, sweet and a slight roast. The taste is a smooth, light roast caramel malt and a velvety vanilla finish. The palate is light bodied with a nitro mouthfeel. silky velvety and a clean roast and mineral finish. Nice, restrained and fresh.

Nitro at Paragon, 3/12/25. Brown pour with a creamy, nitro head in light brown. Lace completely coats the glass. Aroma is chocolate, light roast coffee, and grains. Balanced flavor. Smooth, silky feel. Crushable stuff.

Draft at Paragon, 3/12/25. Pretty shocked I haven't rated this before, must have slipped through cracks, or sipped through the sunshine. Pineapple, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Nicely piney as well. Leans dry. Slightly boozy. Tons of flavor. Well made.

My experience has been top shelf with Lawson's and their IPAs. Tonight I am trying Double Sunshine, a 16 oz can, let us proceed. Thanks to Half Time for making this beer available. Tasting glass tonight is a chalice from Belgium, I have it in place and tilt the can. The liquid is an opaque yellow-orange followed by a modest cover of pure white foam that sees a steady refill from the bottom of the glass. Very active I have to say. An inviting smell, tangerines, other citrus, a touch of tropical and some hoppiness. The drink, I call it a combination of left coast and right coast and a good one at that. Orange peel, grapefruit, mangoes, white bread, malt and a nice hops bitterness. An easy drink, I am liking this beer.
