375ml bottle pours rootbeer brown with some off white head that faded very quick. Nose has sumac and witchhazel, rootbeer, cream soda, marzipan, caramel. Flavor has more caramel and maple and cream soda, booze now, brandy or cognac. Boozy, oily, sticky finish. 2018 bottle shows some age, but I dig.

Amber with a huge foamy yellow white head that lingers. Bitter with tropical fruit, pine and leafy floral hops. Long finish. Medium body

Can. A dark brown, unclear beer with a small beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, nuts, caramel, some dark chocolate, hints of bonfire and a hint of licorice. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium to full-bodied, with flavors of roasted malts. Coffee, hints of licorice and bonfire. Lasting finish. Easy drinkable indeed. A bit ordinary though. 210813

50cl bottle pours an oily black with plenty of sticky, khaki head. Nose hits with big, big apple juice. There's a lot of standard imperial stout, port and cocoa, caramel, burnt toast. But it all circles back to apples and apple juice. I drink a fair amount of brandy, but this is an apple bomb. Caramel and marzipan and cocoa and toast are all present, but damn, lots of brandy and apples. Fruity, full bodied, boozy finish. Crazy barrel treatment.
