Im Jubiläumsjahr 2020 befindet sich Hübner Bräu 200 Jahre im Familienbesitz. Wir sind eine kleine Privatbrauerei in langjähriger Familientradition mit uriger Brauereigaststätte am Tor zur fränkischen Schweiz. Bis etwa ins Jahr 1720 lässt sich die Geschichte der Brauerei Hübner zurückverfolgen, seit 1820 befindet sich der Betrieb in Familienbesitz. Bekannt ist die Brauerei auf den Höhen des Jura vor allem für ihr süffiges Vollbier, das Liebhaber und Stammgäste auch als „Otto-Bier“ bezeichnen – frei nach Otto Hübner, der bis 2003 die Geschicke des Unternehmens leitete. Seither liegt die Leitung des Betriebes in den Händen seines Neffen Thomas Will, der damit die Familientradition in der nächsten Generation fortführt.

Bottle @ Björn tasting. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy grainy weak caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy grainy caramel bready flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottled@Björn tasting. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, floral and some mild toasted notes. Flavour is a bit salty along with some bready, grass and some herbal notes. Balanced as such, but quite different from the typical German Bocks.

Clear shining amber colour, nice frothy white head, bubbles down quickly, only foamy rim and some lacing remain. Aroma malty, bit toasted, grainy, herbal hops. Taste malty moderate sweetbitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; mild sweetbitter finish.
