Im Glas schau das Bier aus wie Apfelschorle - gelblich-braun und nach kurzer Zeit überhaupt kein Schaum mehr. Allgemein ist das Bier eine ziemlich wässrige Angelegenheit. Die vorhandenen Aromen zeigen sich, aber doch sehr verhalten, erst im Nachgeschmack. Im Mund bleibt ein ganz leichter Hauch von Malz mit einer weiteren süßlich-herben Note zurück.
Wirklich schlecht im Aroma ist das Bier nicht, aber sehr sehr wässrig....

Bottle. Clear yellow colour with a thin head. Aroma of dust,malts some citrus. Flavor is pretty thin with sweet butterscotch and light citrus. Average.

50cl from bottle @ Moe’s Sportsbar, Bamberg. Clear golden orange colour with a small to medium sized white head. Smells slightly hoppy, slightly grassy, slightly malty. Tastes malty, slightly sweetish, some hay, a hint of iron. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle (50 cl) from Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Orange-coloured. - The initial taste is heavily sweet and full of alcohol. The aftertaste is again artificial sweetener, followed by dull bitterness. As the beer gradually gets warmer, its thick sweetness gets even more unpleasant. - German bock beers are usually brewed using bitter hops and contain more unfermentable sugar than regular beer. The sweetness and the high alcohol content are highlighted by the bitterness of the hops. The best bock beers still manage to develop some flavour and character, this one doesn’t. One to avoid. - Rating: 1.4
Neuverkostung, 20.12.2016: Flasche (50 cl) von Keils Getränkemarkt, Bayreuth. - Tiefes Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase breite Malzsüße, stumpfe Herbe, leicht fuselig. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig und etwas künstlich malzsüß, erinnert an den Zuckeraufguß von Obstkonserven (Dosenaprikosen). Kräftige (un)krautige Herbe, die stumpf und ranzig wirkt und schlecht integriert ist. Matt rezent. Leer bitterer Abgang. - Noch trinkbar aber wahrlich kein Genuß. Meine ursprüngliche Bewertung (1,4) muß ich nur geringfügig nach oben korrigieren.

Bottled (from meinbiershop, found in an old box). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head with a creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is earth cellar, some slight herbal and floral notes along with some sweet malts. Flavour is sweet and bready malts along with some floral and herbal notes. Ends with a nice floral hoppyness along with some sweet malty notes. Atleast this bottle has kept well (BBE was 6 months before this rating was made).

Bottle @ Chris’ house in Fürth. A bit hazy, dark golden appearance with an off white head. Cracker, bready yeasty, a bit thick aroma. Slightly orange citrusy fruity, chewy, sort of bland pale malty flavor.
