Süffiger, dunkel bitterer Beginn. Milde aber erkennbare Hopfigkeit, etwas malzig, süffig. Kernig bitterer Mittelteil, mit der Zeit hopfiger werdend, was das Bier vollmundig macht. Dunkel bleibend, mittellanger Abgang. 12/8/10/9/10/9

Bottle picked up from Craftbeer - shop (online shop), Parchim, Germany, had this sat in Frank camper at Lenggrieser mountain Camping Friday 27th January 2022 taking part in the live online tasting event. Pours dark chocolate brown with a murkiness and a slim light beige head. The hops are more detectable here than the previous two, still lots of chocolate and a big maltiness. The brewer suggests plums and I can see that that there is a nod in this direction. Very soft mouthfeel, a little cocoa powder lingers. Good.

Aus der Flasche beim Hamburger Senatsbock Anstich 2022-01 getrunken. Dieses schwarze Bock mit roten Reflexen kommt mit einer beigen, kurzweiligen Schaumkrone daher. Die Nase von dem Bock ist sehr verschlossen und nur eine leichte Malznote ist zu entdecken. Am Gaumen ist es auch recht verhalten, aber die Idee das Bock eine Belgische Trappisten Note zu geben ist erkennbar und erinnert an ein Dubbel. Neben der Malzigen und Karamellnote ist eine wunderbare ganz feine Himbeeraroma zu entdecken. Toll ist das die Belgische Idee hier sehr gelungen ist.

Rocky off white head left a froth on an amber coloured still body. Dates, peach & honey aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the with a nicely carbonated back. Sweet, jam, spiced orange & stone fruit tastes. Very drinkable. Why are German beer bottles still made with such thick glass?

0,33 l bottle. Murky flat orange golden, more than one finger white foamy head.Some mandrine and fresh hop on the nose. Taste starts with a surpsing sour fruitieness. Increasing dry bitterness. Thick yeasty texture. Not really my kind of stuff.
