Bottle @ the Keller in Buttenheim. Cloudy orangish brown appearance with a cream colored head. Caramel, chewy yeasty, rich banana, burnt sugar aroma. Tart, very sweet, orange citrusy, mildly toasty malty, banana flavor. Not very good.

Bottle in Schlitz, labelled Löwenbräu Buttenheim Weissbier. Brownish golden appearance with a nice white head. Fairly spicy clove, somewhat musty/bready, moderately wheat malty, yeasty nose. A bit tangy/tart, quite yeasty and bready, moderate clove flavor with some other fruity esters but the yeast is at the forefront of the flavor.

Tapped: Hazy, deep golden to light amber coloured, mid-sized persisting off-white head, grainy-barnyardy-caramelly nose with a herbal-hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, very soft, light to medium bodied; mild and lingering sweet-fruity and slightly hoppy finish. Not great, but a very well quaffable session-beer.....

Bottle @ Lowenbrau, Buttenheim. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy egg white head. Dry and fresh hefeweizen. A bit of banana and some citrus. Lively carbonation. Smooth palate. Good beer from a great brewery

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, light clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with nice big head. Sweet orange, lemon, clove and wheat malt flavor. Medium body - low carbonation. Not bad, not great.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of citrus, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, wheat, and nuts, leading to a bitter finish.

Cear deep amber with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, wheat, caramel and bananas. Flavour had roasted malt, wheat, bananas and hoppy hints. Finished rather dry. Not my style though.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and a dense off-white head. Sweet aroma of overripe fruit, caramel and yeast. Medium body, sweet fruit and caramel with quite some yeast. Lightly phenollic touch. No bitterness. 010510

50 cL bottle, courtresy of Papsoe. Pours cloudy dark brown with a small and off-white head. Aroma is dry estery and roasted malt. Dark malty and estery dry flavoured. Mild acidic and bubblegum fruity. Dry estery finish.
