Ma Che draught, 5/14/24. Hint of haze. Dark cherry-rose. Small, pink head. Good retention. Tart, juicy, really well done cherries. Very pulpy and with soft Brett, lots of wheat and no aggression. Chewy, pulpy, fruity, juicy, low lactic, low Brett. More fruit beer than sour here. Though as it warms some light Brett and very light lactic increases. The cherry is so dense and juicy.

Ma Che draught 5/3/24. Lightly hazed, lemon. Small, dense, white head. Nose is subtle, deep funk and good Brett and lacto. Gentle acidity but robust with excellent, not overdone fruit character. Biscuity, and also soft at times, malts with good dryness and zippy tartness from the grape and culture. Surprisingly easy drinking, mellow, balanced flavors. Very nicely done.

2022 draught at Ma Che Siete, 5/3/24. Cloudy, light brass-golden. Small, densely creamy, white head. Big wheat vibes with heavy mineral, mild acidity and mild grape. Clean, malty, lots of biscuit. Juicy, light-bodied, pretty well balanced with the fruit. Low acidity, no acetic. Lingering wheat, light Brett, moderate grape character. A touch watery - some tight carbonation would really work wonders here. But the culture is interesting.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome).

Pear Jam, lol. At least it wasn't fermented with "pearl" 😉 anyway, not a saison. Acidic and not just from the fruit. Good panino!

Bottle shared at GBBF 2023 - day 1. Cheers to Kenny. Pours clear orange-gold with a small, foamy topping. Medium to big seeet flavour, a little toffee, ripened orange, toasted malts. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet and lightly warming finish. Enjoyable.
