Description
The Brewery was founded in 1367. The brewery has been family-owned since 1879. The owners still maintain the old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite monastery. The lively mix of yesterday and today, old and new, is increasingly being demanded and valued beyond the borders of our homeland. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturation times are the basis for the excellent taste and digestibility of our beer specialties. A high level of craftsmanship and the use of the latest technology guarantee the consistently high quality.

0,5 l bottle with a solid old school german standard design. A clear pale honey in the glass, small white head. Low grainy in the nose. Starts mid grainy, light sweetness, low herb. Hints of malt and citrus in the background. Decent bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a typical Helles or Export, more like a Zwickel.

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty nose with rye bread, apricots, orange peel, caramel and honey. Malty taste with notes of caramel, rye bread, orange, apricots, honey and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well made and quite tasty. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty bready caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy weak bready caramel flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty spicy caramel and dark fruit finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized, firm head. Aroma of raisins and rye bread. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Light grassy hops, bread and raisin. Mildly warming finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear dark amber wiith a large fluffy head. Sweet with a lot of malt, some alcohol, dried fruit and sugar. The finish was warming. Thick mouthfeel.

Bottle. Clear copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of bread, biscuit, raw sugar, raisins, caramel and light sweet alcohol. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, raisins, caramel and biscuit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
