Bottle: Hazy, greenish-golden coloured with a stable mid-sized foamy layer; yeasty and sulphuric nose, some grassy hops in the background; mild sweet-bitter flavour, soft&light bodied; more bitter - but still mild - malty and yeasty finish. Not great…

Bouteille:Golden, not completely clear, quickly collapsing loose white head; honeyish-malty nose with some traces of herbal hops in the background, several fruits detectable; medium bodied, not soft, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; lingering honeyish malty and fruity finish with a delicate, but distinctive and tart herbal-hoppy counterpart. Not world -class, but still quite nice…

500ml bottle. Pale yellow-tan body, lots of fast rising carbonation bubbles within. Massive foamy white head. Excellent appearance once you finally get it all in the glass. Solid banana in the aroma. Relatively fresh, enjoyable, refreshing. A solid Weizen all the way, so much more enjoyable than Stateside examples.

Malzig-dickflüssig. The mainpart is very deep. Plums, raisins. Not too sweet, but very viscous. Intense dark, not much bitterness there. On the tongue remains an intense malty aroma with lots of dried plums and dark cherries.
Absolutely great brew! 14/13/14/14

Bottle from SuperValu, Longford [060614]
Caramel reddish brown, clear, frothy beige head, little lacing
Aroma sweet caramel, malty, soft raisin fruits, little alcohol
Taste - sweet caramel malts, soft raisin fruits, little hops, too boozy, under flavoured for the abv, rather dull
Palate - soft carb. medium body, smooth, sweet palate, bitter alcohol. Finish as main flavour, boozy finish
Overall - Flavour too simple for abv, needs more flavour to contract the alcohol
