16oz can pours a murky orange with some foamy head which settled into a cloud. Nose is sugary, tropicals, some bruleed citrus, light pine. Flavor is very saccharine, sweet n low and melon sherbet and pineapple and marshmallow. Sweet, full bodied finish. 6 4 5 2 9

(Old notes) Pours black with a small lingering tan head. The aroma is of chocolate, roast malt, coffee, and booze. The intense, roasty, chocolate accented flavor is well balanced. It’s warming but not overly hot with that high abv.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours darkest brown to motor oil with a small khaki head. The aroma is sweet, sappy, oily, toffee, fudge, vanilla, fig, prune, plum, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, red wine and jam. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, tannin, jammy, leather, spice, warming, blackcurrant, bramble, buckfast, tannin, leather, spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate fluffy carbonation. Interesting fruity vibes.
