Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.
A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.
Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.
Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Amber, clear, frothy fairly dense white head, some lacing.
Nose of soft light caramel malts, light cereal, not much aroma.
Taste of soft light caramel malts ,soft cereals, fairly bitter twiggy hops, simple bitter beer - rather dull tbh
Palate - Light body, little oily, slight sweet malts with soft bitter hop. Finish as main flavour, dry soft bitter grain malts, quite long soft bitter linger
Overall - Came across as an average standard bitter...didn’t pick up the juniper at all...will re-rate if see again

Hal pint, cask by handpump at Standing Order. Off-white head blanketing the glass. Near-clear copper coloured body. Marmalade nose. Dried fruity taste with malty sweetness, jam-like. Malt-fruity, mid-bitter ending. Rather heavy to drink, but satisfying (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

Bottled. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Citric nose with some caramel. Citrus, penicillin and minerals dominate. Salty bitterish finish. Too medicinal.
