Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.

Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.

Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

50cl bottle thanks to unstablefable. Pours opaque with a thin crema head. The nose has a savoury liquorice thing going on with a hint of coffee and salt too. The taste has black jacks (sweets from the 1980s) and some coffee though it’s a little bit lighter than the nose - more bark than bite a Andrew says! The palate is a medium body with a rich texture but then it falls off a cliff somewhat! Overall, good though!

Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Chris, probably. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Light dry, toasty bread aroma, some mild floral hops. Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow, dry caramel and toasted bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate bready malt finish, with some faint, dry hay and modest floral bitterness. Fine.
