Located on an old working farm in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, the emphasis has always been to produce natural, wholesome beers using the best, class A malt and hops sourced in England. Our brewing process mirrors age-old methods and our beers are brewed with skill, passion and integrity. 28/9/2018. Bottle from BEER:shop, St.Albans. Pours dark golden with a big foamy white head. Aroma of hops, malt, toffee, fruit and nutmeg. Towards heavy sweetness, light bitterness, and a very slight underlying sourness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, average carbonation.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is caramel malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth rich sweet toffee malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

IP trade with Theydon Void, bottle shared at Cotteridge get together. Malty aroma. Light chestnut. Thin off-white bubbly head. Light bitter. Malty. Thin bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. Bland.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 18/05/18. Rich mahogany brown with a decent light tan. Nose is coffee grinds, dark malts, toffee, light roast, chocolate. Taste carries a good coffee bean profile, light black peppery spice, cacao nibs, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Solid flavoursome cask coffee affair ... good depth of flavour for the relatively low ABV.

500ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is gluey toffee malt, resin, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, fresh dry malt, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2017 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Chiltern The Glorious 90th ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, vintage malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, vintage malt - wood, pale malt, sweet malt, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Fluffy off white head stayed on a still, tea coloured body.. Deep malty aroma with tea, jam & spice. Medium to full bodied, super smooth with a cloying aft. Sweet tastes of honey, over stewed fruit, grape & sherry. Good one

Cask at the Bootlegger, 16/02/18. Clear golden blonde with a well presented off white head. Nose is straw, light citric peel, grassy, airy malts, bread. Taste comprises pale malts, breads, grains, melon, lemon drizzle, crackers. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Comes over a touch thin but a decent effort for the ABV.
