Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 8th February 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music after a Belgian Beef Carbonnade for tea. Fine but not really tickling my taste buds that much. Colour is gold, good clarity, mid sized white head, soft mouthfeel, a tad overly sweet, some light toffee touches a little metallic kick back, actually it gets a little better, a bitterness builds was going to give it a 3.0 but think that on reflection it deserves a 3.3.

Very good, stable, yellowish-pink head over chestnut brown, clear beer. Bread, sweet, eggnogg, breadcrust, brown candi syrup. Liquorice, sweet bread, leafy, breadcrust, bit nutty. Well-bodied, slick, almost viscous. Warming, chewy. Ultra classical. Txs to B&T for the gift!
