Dieses Bier will ich als Abschluss meiner Quarantäne-BIerreise vom Sofa daheim aus nehmen. Bis jetzt war ich in Bremen, Bayern, Tschechien, Lemberg in der Ukraine, Schottland, England, Irland, Schweden, Belgien, Oregon, Kalifornien, Vorarlberg, Kärnten, OÖ, NÖ und natürlich Wien. Und zum Abschluss geht es noch nach Kroatien. Wo man überall hinkommt, wenn man zu Hause sitzt und seinen Bierkeller durchtrinkt Man bekommt ein Amber Ale mit einem karamelligen Kern und leicht hopfigen Spitzen, die das fein unterstreichen. Es ist jetzt nicht so super-duper-speziell, aber ein durchaus solides Amber Ale, das ein Lächeln ins Gesicht bringen kann.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, thin soapy white head, short lasting. A bit of lacing on the glass. Good on the nose, sweet, candy, nice floral notes, fruity touched, hints of banana. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Prickly, fizzy mouthfeel, soft texture, moderately chewy. Nicely drinkable. Sweet taste with low alcohol bitternes. Aroma of caramel and candy, banana, herbs and spices. Floral, bready, hints of citrus. Belgian yeast. A bit on the boozy side, noticable alcohol, subtle burn on the tongue. Medium lasting finish, liquory, dry, lingering spiciness. Pretty good tripel.

Gold to pink with a fleeting, foamy head. Sediment. Herbal aroma, a touch floral. Some vanilla and banana. That’s talking it up though. Mild bittersweetness with a citric note. Light to medium bodied, watery, mild carbonation. Drinkable

DIe Abkürzung IBA soll für Istrian Belgian Ale stehen. So kommt es anfangs als Tripel und erinnert dann weiter an ein malziges Dubbel. Es ist kein klassisches Belgisches, stellt aber auch nicht diesen Anspruch. Es ha schöne karamellig-spße NOten und einen ordentlichen Alkoholeinschlag. Der Geschmack entwickelt sich beim Erwärmen und daher sollte es nicht zu kalt getrunken werden. Leichte Krischaromen runden das in sich geschlossene Bier ab. EInmal ein etwas anderes Belgisches, aber nicht schlecht.

Very neutral beer. Nice looking hazy bright blond. Hard to discern anything on the nose. Grassy hops, slight malt. Same in the mouth, practically no hoppy bitterness. Drinkable but forgettable

Amber with a thick, frothy head that lingers. Aroma of citrus, caramel and pine. Taste is bitter with a citric edge. Bittersweet at the end. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Decent.

Dieses schwarze Bier hat nette Noten nach Kaffee, Kakao und Lebkuchen. Es hat einen tollen und vollen Körper, der ein warmes Gefühl in der Magengegend hinterlässt. Ein untypisches, aber ursypatisches Bier.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, hoppy notes, light citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, malty amd hoppy bitter finish. Ok.
