Description
We started Braybrooke in 2017 with just one aim - to make really good lager. Beer doesn’t have to be complicated as long as it’s made in the right way with a commitment to quality. That’s exactly what we’re doing, brewing proper lager in the heart of the English countryside, near Market Harborough.

Keg tap at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Just on today. Mid-gold, hazy with a little bit of head. Lots of lacing down the glass.... Very light aroma of gluey resin with fresh satsuma pulp, white pepper and some hay. Sweetish taste with sticky malt and a light hoppy finish. More satsuma and a hint of pineapple in the afteratste if you look hard enough. A nice lager.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Beautiful stuff top to bottom, with lovely toasted brown bread, some earthy and lightly bitter coffee, nips of dry toffee and brown sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Earthy finish with a little ashy coffee, cocoa, more well toasted wholegrain bread. Incredibly drinkable.
