On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata carica, limpida, schiuma écru media, molto persistente. Al naso note di malto, caramello, caramella d'orzo, erbaceo, molto pulita. In bocca è splendida, maltata, equilibrata, con amaro finale medio. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Eccellente!

Bottle @Beershoppe (Rome). Dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note maltate, mollica di pane, miele, leggero cereale, erbaceo. In bocca è abboccata, maltata, con chiusura amara medio-leggera. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ok.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20241126) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, honey, fruitiness and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey, straw and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy, grainy and bitter. Tasty.

Keg @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured dark brown in color. Bready malty aroma with some rye, nutty notes and some toastedness. Easy going, nice drinkability.

Belcher at the roost pours a murky rootbeer brown with some khaki head. Nose is malty, nutty, very bready. Flavor has some more cocoa, bread, malt. Medium bodied, a little date or raisin. Ok.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, grain, sweetness, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A tasty malty brew with nice hop notes and subtle sweetness.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours crystal clear pale yellow with a creamy, white topping. Light sweet flavour with notes of pale biscuits, grains, simple white sugar, faint bitter damp bay. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. OK balance to finish, more white bread, biscuits, straw. Fine.

Tap at HopDog. Black, with a low, thick, white head. Nose is chocolate, coffee, caramel, creamy. Nutty chocolate and caramel flavor, a touch of roastiness, a bit of coffee, somewhat creamy and sweet. Almost like a Czech cerny. Solid.
