Gold- bis bernsteinfarbenes Bier; gemischtporige relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase süßlich, malzig, viel Karamell, dazu fruchtiger Hopfen. Im Geschmack süßlich-karamellig, leicht brotig, schlanker bis mittlerer Körper, wenig Kohlensäure. Für meinen Geschmack zu süß, jedoch fehlerfrei und gut gemacht.

A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mid sweet breadish malt, cereals. Taste of breadish malt, cereals, straw, mild bitterness, watery mouthfeel.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor is malts, hayish, a tad sweet and decently bitter. Okay.

Dark amber colour with small off white head.Aroma of roasted malt and brown sugar mild sweet and grainy with good note of caramel and malt mild grainy and sweet finish.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Saturday 15th February 2025 listening to Ditz and prior to that Das Format in anticipation of our gig next Thursday. Loz has been making Mince Pies and I've been preparing our Chicken Fajitas for later. Pours gold with a haze. Despite picking this up before Christmas there is still a bit of hoppiness on the nose. Tastewise solid if unspectacular, smooth, light maltiness, usual suspects, light bitterness, a slight citric touch. Pleasant.

Bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Aroma is grainy malt, bread, straw, light caramel, with slight musty notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Doesn't completely work for me, there's some sharpness. I've had better.

Bottle from Meibier. Nicely bready aroma with caramel malt, some grain. Moderate to medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Solid wholesome Märzen, rich malts and dark bread.

Bottle from Meibier. Aroma is sweet pale malt with notes of cereal and grassy noble hops. Flavour is rather more sweet than I like my Helles Lager with a moderate bitterness. Medium body. Could be a lot better.
