500 ml bottle. Dark brown red with a fluffy head. Roasted toasted malt, bitter dark chocolate, toffee, some earthy notes, dried fruits, citrus. Dry zesty roasty bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty roasty bittersweet finish. Good Schwarzbier, roasty, dry yet sweet, well balanced and aromatic.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange with a small head. Green apple, quince, lemon zest, some white balsamic vinegar, sour white wine grapes, even some funk, grape seed, basement notes / barnyard. Mild dry sourness, some bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry sourish finish. Quite an interesting Weißbier, very complex but does not hit the spot completely.

Bottle picked up at Appel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Thursday 21st December 2023 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and still thinking about cooking a Thai Curry maybe a Massaman, Red or whatever the other is. Pours murky dark brown with an off white leaning towards cappuccino coloured head. Plenty of banana here, nice caramel and toffee, it's got banoffee going on. Wonderful mouthfeel, great beer, lovely.

Mit 6,1 % Alk. ganz klar eines der stärkeren Festbiere. Edel aufgemachte Flasche. Ergießt sich hellgolden und glasklar. Schaumentwicklung absolut mau. Blumig, fruchtig in der Nase. Geschmacklich bestimmen auch blumige und fruchtige Noten (insbesondere Quitte und Birne). Etwas helles Getreide, „grün“ florale Nuancen und winzige Spuren von Almdudler spielen auch mit rein. Hopfung allerdings vergleichsweise mild. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist nicht zu vordergründig. Bei der Kohlensäure ein guter Kompromiss aus Weichheit und Lebendigkeit. Kein schlechtes Festbier, aber im Angesicht von urgewaltigen 6,1 % Alk. etwas dumpf. Könnte etwas geschmacksintensiver und peppiger sein.

500 ml bottle. A clear dark gold beer, fluffy head. Grain, malt, hay, citrus, hints of metal. Mild dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Good drinkable Helles.
