500 mL brown bottle. Caramel malt aroma accompanied by lighter fruits. Nice amber gold color with a decent white head. A bit thin in body with moderate, nigh creamy, carbonation. The flavor is caramel and light stone fruit. Kind of bready. The finish is reasonably dry, and there is some bitter. Very drinkable.

Re-rate 6/7/10: Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks tomer. Clear golden. Aroma of malt, caramel, alcohol and some candies. Sweetish flavor, somewhat malty, with a bit of caramel sugariness and a herbal bitter finish. Light to medium body. 6/3/7/3/13=3.2

Bottle from a great trade with Koelschtrinker (thanks!). Hazy golden with a medium, diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malt, some toastiness and caramel. Sweet malty flavor with caramel and some bread. A touch of hoppy bitterness. A bit of alcohol in the finish. Medium-bodied. A decent bock. 7/3/6/3/13=3.2

Bottle (thanx to joss !): Hazy and golden, firm, persistent and lacing white head, ctrousy, wheaty nose with a touch of bananas and a tinge of cloves; solid sweetish-sourish flavour, medium bodied; swet-wheaty-lemony finish with the faintest tart bitterness in the very end. Fine, delicious Weizen..........

Bottle; L7150 (whatever that imparts). Rich caramel aroma, backed by coffee and chocolate. Deep mahogany color topped with a beige head that is respectable. Full bodied, with creamy carbonation. The flavor is caramel, with something wet paperish/earthy - not a bad thing - works well. Persistence brings up some chocolate. The finish is more dry than sweet, and there are dark notes - like a mix of chocolate, coffee and something I can’t put my tongue on - could be nuttiness. Very drinkable.

50 cL bottle. Nice aroma of noble hop. There’s also a bit of spice in the air. Dark, brassy gold color with a substantial white head that even left tatters of lace. Soft feel, medium bodied, nearly creamy carbonation. The flavor begins with light malty sweetness accompanied by a decent amount of floral and grassy hop. The finish is not very dry, but there is enough bitter to cover that issue. And the lace turns out to be substantial. Clean, crisp, and mouthsmackingly good.

500ml bottle shared with Finn. Light brown body. Good creamy head retention. Smell of coffee and cocoa. Moderate liquorice flavour against a chocolate malty backbone. Bittersweet ending. A bit like a brown ale to my taste (at a garden party in Ingolstadt, 20.06.2007).

Faintly orange or even foxy tinted golden beer under a medium, very dense white head, persistent. Something chemical, solvent-like, acryl paint; after a few sniffs, one get used to it, and some toasted malts emerge, but putting away the glass for some time, this "aroma" returns in force. Toasted malts, a bit too sharp to be called sweet. Overly roasted cornflakes, roasted glazing. Ends on some heated milk flavour, sweet with a sharp, rather than bitter edge. MF confirms the impression of something sharp, nearly astringent. I really wonder if its me, or the beer - or just this bottle.

Bottle: Copper coloured, big fluffy off-white head; complex nose: caramelly, nutty and sweet-malty; solid sweet-bitter flavour, astonishingly light-bodied; sweet-malty finish, balanced by a shovel of aromatic hops in the aftertaste. Wow, a very pleasant goody.....
