0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before June 2026. Very hazy, golden amber with a large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of banana, clove, honey and some pear. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, some honey and a touch of pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very nice Weizenbock, very well-balanced, quite saturating, absolutely harmonious. Right up my alley.

50cl Fles van REWE Wolfratshausen. Heldergouden kleur, witte kraag. Suiker, glazuur, citroenrasp, bloemenhoning, moutig, licht fruitig, degelijk bitter, alcoholwarmend. Lekker.

Brown with a foamy, off-white head. Aroma promises toffee and hazelnut butter. Taste is mildly sweet most of the way through. The faint toasted bitterness at the finish is easily missed. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation, a touch watery. Easygoing. Decent, if unremarkable.
