(bottle) Almost clear, except for some tiny yeast-particles, golden coloured hue with a huge foamy white head. Moderately sweet and aromatic grainy and nutty aroma with a touch of cara-malt and hints of vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour with a balancing level of bitterness, almost medium bodied with a soft, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Robust malty, soft-grainy base with balanced herbal hoppy notes in the wings; quite dry and well-rounded malty sweet and hop bitter finish. Very pleasant Export (12.09.07).

Amber-yellow with a thick head. Wow - that is really appley, maybe even a bit Sprite-like. I can’t focus on anything else. The flavour is more malt accented with yeasty footiness, breadcrusty caramel and still some sharp apple. Quite rustic.

Bottle (many tanks to joss !): Golden, big stable fluffy white head, deep sweet-malty nose with some bitter-aromatic edges in the wings, almost with a honeyish tinge; solid sweet-malty flavour with a distinctive bitterness, soft MF; distinctive sweet-bitter finish, aromatic. A fine well balanced, well crafted brew......
