(bottle) Hazy amber coloured hue with loads of floaties swimming around and a medium-sized frothy off-white head with lace. Sweet malty and fruity nose with a strong but not unpleasant (vinous) alcoholic note. Sweet flavour, full bodied, medium carbonated. Malty, nutty and fruity taste; sweet malty and (hazel)nutty finish with a well integrated alcoholic note.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is very citrusy. (is this a triple or a hefe?) Flavor is very musty with a nice dose of corriander and yeast. Alcohol is hidden well. Won’t win any awards but still a nice rep of the style.

Pour is a cloudy brown with a huge white head. Aroma is hard to detect but there are some malts showing up along with a nice whiff of alcohol. Flavor is slightly woody and with an aftertaste of bananas. Not the best Belgian by a longshot but worth a try.

Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour with big foamy head. Aroma of alcohol with some weak fruity hints. Flavour is mainly yeasty with some fruity sweetness. Also some hints of nuts. Quite un-interesting.

7% doesn’t seem very strong to me, perhaps this should simply be a Belgian ale. Has the standard aroma of Belgian ale. Some malt and very light fruit. There is some sediment but it settles fairly well. The beer gets more cloudy as you get closer to the end of the bottle. Huge cream colored foam and leaves a thick lace on the glass and lasts for hours. Flavor is substantially different from others of the style, being close to a light tripel. Light fruit flavors combine with malt and yeast. And that to a beer as heavily carbonated as this (the cork exploded out of the bottle, hit the ceiling, then the wall, but still there was explosion of beer. Well done.) and you have a delicate, lightly fruity, malty beverage that is surprisingly light and refreshing.

Bottle. Brown beer with an off-white head. Light malt aroma with some yeast. Malt and candi sugar flavor - too sweet. Some background fig fruitiness, but not much going on.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Spicy nose full of juniper. Quite malty with a light sweetness. Distinct herbal - almost medicinal - notes with the juniper really shining through. Qite dry finish. The alcohol is less prominent than in the Ambrée making this easier to drink. 051205

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark chestnut brown with a tint of red and a handsome and thick, off-white head. Roasted, caramelish aroma. Sweetish flavours of roasted malt. OK, but not exactly a great beer. 111105

Bottle Clear, amber body. Rocky, off-white head on top of it. Uninteresting nose of overkilled and unbalanced beer: perfume, light malts, ... And the flavour proved my prejudices right. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour.
