Tap at Shinshu Sake. Amber colour, small off white head. Aroma is malty, bit fruity, some sweetness. Taste is nice again, lots of malt, fruity again. Solid enough. Rerate: Had it again straight out of the can from Le Collier. Aroma more citrussy this time, similarly with the taste, but still plenty of maltiness. Seems like I scored it the same though. Third time's a charm. This time at ibrew on tap. Really nice. Citrus and malty. Extremely vague I know, but just a nice beer.

Can from Le Collier. Straight from the can. Lightly creamy, bit of lemon, very kolsch like. Always easy drinking. Bit tea like, earl grey element and decent fruitiness. Quite nice. Very soft in the mouth.

Can from Shinshu Sake Mura. Taste is light citrus, nice bitterness, grainy, floury. Aroma floral, lemon, biscuit malt. Only a few notes but remember being surprised by it as I thought it wouldn't be so good.

Crisp yellow and golden coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of grass, light citrus and very dry herbal hops with a little dose of malt with some crisp yeast present as well. Light-bodied; Sharp malt and grassy flavours with some herbal hops present and very dry grainy notes with a light fresh biscuity malt with noticeable alcohol bites at the end with some astringent and perfumey hop characteristics which are nice and refreshing. Aftertaste is crisp and very balanced with a lot of fresh biscuity malt flavours and quite a bit of dry, grassy hop flavours that show some light bitterness but very noticeably piney and almost resinous character at the end that has a bit more alpha acids. Overall, a balanced and well-structured APA that has fresh malt and hop flavours with a smooth and dry bite of astringency at the end. Nice on a very hot summer day here in Tokyo. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased two days ago at World Liqour Mart in Daimon, Tokyo, Japan on 03-August-2019 for 288JPY sampled two days later here in my hotel room in Tokyo, Japan on 05-August-2019.

Crisp and ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades quite, but only starts out at about a centimetre. Aroma of grass and hay with a little dose of citrus and resin, but a lot of hops altogether and a dash of sweetness as well. Light-bodied; Strong dry and grassy notes start out with some white grape juice and a dose of hay and flowers and a touch of lager yeast near the end. Aftertaste shows the pale grain, a dash of flowers and hay with a long-lingering dry and hoppy bite that shows some softer and very low alpha acid hops that seem like European or German than anything from America of the South Pacific. Overall, a decent beer at best that really tastes and feels like a lager with a touch of a hoppy and dry characterisitic, but nothing too pungent and quite mellow for any ale at all, especially a 'real' IPA or one that calls themselves one. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased a few minutes ago from Lawson's Natura in Daimon, Tokyo, Japan for 280JPY sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in Tokyo, Japan on 04-August-2019. La

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2019. Nose is lemon and ginger. Flavor more ginger, fruity lemon, bready malts. A bit like a soda pop. Hazy orange, flat. Too spiced up for my tastes.

330ml can. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light caramel, fudgy, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, toffee caramel, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
