Appearance: rusty yellow to almost copper color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head, dissipated to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: clean biscuity/bready/cracker malts balancing in some light grassy/earthy hops
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas semi-sweetly, mild aftertaste of the malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue, finishes crisp, clean and malty
Overall: nicely done kellerbier worthy of coming back to.

Aroma: pale malts through doughy/bready tones, light grassy & earthy hops
Flavor: nice malty semi-sweetness and using the hops to balance a fine bittering underneath; no aftertaste
Texture: between light to medium bodied, sessionable, clean, smooth, malty finish
Overall: nicely done Maibock lager well worthy of having again.

Aroma: roasted malts, biscuity/bready, toast, earthy character, some nuttiness
Flavor: combines all the previously mentioned aromas to a sweet and roasty blend; subtle nutty malty aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, very sessionable; roasty and nutty finish
Overall: nicely done Munich Dunkel lager well worthy of partaking in again.

Aroma: sweet cracker/bready malts, subtle peppery hop tones, some herbal qualities, sly grassiness
Flavor: previously mentioned aromas blend sweetly with super subtle spicy to herbal backing; sly aftertaste of malts and herbal to spicy tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, clean finish of herbal to cracker malty and peppery tones
Overall: nicely done winter lager that I would return to.

"German Porter" sounds like a marketing term to dumb down a classic German style for our unsophisticated American palates, but damned if it isn't a delicious beer regardless. Strong notes of mocha and bittersweet chocolate are backed up by hints of pumpernickel bread, toasted nuts, berry, and caramel, finished off by a firm roasted bitterness on the back end. Great pint.

Can shared by Matt A. Clear gold, nice sparkle, decent head, excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is Pilsner/pale malts, mild dank herb. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Appropriate for style.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Barely translucent dark brown color. Creamy beige cap. Aromas of roasted malt, cocoa, cinnamon and allspice. Flavor upfront is light in body. Some cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. A bit like a Dunkelweizen. Pie spices are rather subdued. Given the label artwork, I was expecting more.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some lemon-lime citrus hops. Flavor is an odd lemon pledge cleaner with a moderate bitterness. Finish is gone quickly. This did nothing for me. Some odd hops and no malt at all.
