Sampled from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz.
Dark brown body, with a small, dark beige head.
Aroma of dark chocolate, dark and dried fruits, cocoa, some coffee.
Tastes of dried fruits, caramel, dark chocolate, cocoa, some tobacco, some coffee, alcohol.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes warm, boozy, sweet, a bit dry, with fruits, cocoa, some tobacco, slight coffee.

Very nice. Big, complex and boozy, inbetween a Belgian Strong and a Barley Wine. Although pretty sweet, also with some pleasant dryness, so that it doesn’t get sticky. Propably my favourite beer by Forstner so far.

From a bottle at the Bevog 2nd anniversary. Pours a fairly clear amber orange color, topped with a small white head. Mild fruity aroma, hardly any of it, really. Sweet taste, a bit boozy with quite hary bittery feel. Malty and a bit too sweet. Too much alcohol presence. Not the best one.

330 ml bottle from 2013.
Amber, hazy body, with a big, frothy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma mainly of strong rubber and peat.
Tastes of smoke, peat, rubber, caramel, some dried fruits, some grass.
Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smokey, peaty, a bit sweet malty.

Not my cup of tea. I don’t like the nose at all, pretty bad. Taste is a bit better, with some more other notes. Overall not a beer I can finish or would drink again.

330ml bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, many thanks. Vintage 2013. According to bottle 6.8 ABV. BB 10/2015. orange hazy color, small off-white head. smells of smoke, peat, leather, rubber, very very light malty roast notes. too strong peat notes, not my thing. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of peat, rubber, citric notes, light smoke, some fruit notes in the background. finishes with peat and rubber. Rather extreme this one, others would call it unbalanced. Would need a lot more body for the strong peat notes. Interesting but does not drink too well.

330 ml bottle from Grand Whisky, Vienna.
Dark golden to orange, hazy body, with a big, stable, frothy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of yeast, citrus, grass, orange, some pine, candy.
Tastes of grapefruit, lemon zest, grass, bitter herbs, pine, some sweet fruits, some sweet malts.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, herbal, very piney, grassy, zesty, with some alcohol warmth.

Good. Very hoppy, with nice pine notes. Unbalanced in my opinion though, the berbal bitterness is too dominant for me. Overall as bitter and strong as an IPA, but not as aromatic.
