Hazy golden. Aroma is light herbal hops with some honey and chewy malt. A little fruchtgummi and wax. Popcorn as well. Taste is sweet toast with good herbal bitterness. A bit grainy and earthy. Pretty well balanced and hop bitterness forward. Good.

tap at the brewery Bierkeller, accompanied by Wirsingbraten. Golden colour, tall white head, very creamy. Shy smoky nose. Medium-bodied, grainy-bready malty base, a good amount of aromatic hops with a resiny-herbal feel, plus a decent but not overpowering amount of smoke. Smooth palate.

Geruch fruchtig frisch, leicht alkoholig. Auch geschmacklich kommt das weitgehend durch. Zusätzlich fallen getreidige und florale Noten auf. Im Mittelteil herb-würzig. Hier und im Endteil auch recht bitter. Wunderbar weich. Durchaus brauchbar.

On tap at the brewery. drank in the garden with AndrewC brown malt bit nuttiness hint of caramel very good first beer of the day. some hop dryness on finish. good caramel zwickel.

Sampled after Caesar nearly killed me following him on a bicycle uphill to this place. Great biergarten but after nearly dying from dragging my fat ass up that hill after cycling about 50 km up and down around Bamberg already today, not even the beer could help me anymore. Though that was mainly because the beer wasn't very good. Nonetheless, I'm happy I got there and got to try em. Alive and well. Beer btw is hazy, white head, wheat, banana, yeast. Body is decent, carbonation is quite firm. 6-3-6-2-11.
