Description
In unserem seit 1940 fast unverändertem Brauhaus wird das Wertvolle aus der Vergangenheit behütet, als auch der Blick in die Zukunft gerichtet.

Unseren Bieren sieht und schmeckt man die traditionelle Braukunst an und dieser Genuss wird durch innovative Verarbeitung konstant auf höchste Qualität gehalten.

Wir verwenden ausschließlich ausgewählte und kontrollierte Zutaten aus der Genussregion Oberfranken und brauen nach dem Reinheitsgebot von 1516.

Neben dem bekannten, süffigen fränkischen Lagerbier und dem leckeren Hefeweizen, stehen auch verschiedene Bockbiere zur Auswahl. Ebenso brauen wir saisonal ein Land-Pils, Räucherla und dunkles Landbier sowie ein Kellerbier (Sepperla).

Brewery tap. Dark amber color. Caramel, just a hint of roast, grass in the aroma and flavor. Bready, sweetish, floral. Hint of sulphur.

On tap at Bad Staffelstein BF 2019. Clear deep amber colour lasting off white head. Malty beer a touch of peanuts. Clean. light bitter finish. ok. a touch fizzy. Some drinkability. it's got a little syrup and sweetness. but a decent first beer of the day.

On tap at Bad Staffelstein BY 2019. Clear deep amber pale brown colour lasting beige head. smoked ham on that one. Bavarian smoked home. Brunswick ham. good full in mouth. Some bitterness on finish. good lightness on the mouth. Some light toffee some fruits. hedgerow. good.

“Stublanger Dunkles“, vom Faß beim Löwen-Bräu Hennemann, Stublang. - Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase gediegenes dunkles Malz und frische Fruchtigkeit. - Antrunk mild aber gediegen dunkelmalzig mit Toastmalz, Nuß und Kirsche. Gut rezent, was mir sonst weniger zusagt, aber an einem brütend heißen Tag wie heute eine Wohltat ist; schlank, vielleicht etwas dünn. Im Abgang milde aber ausreichende Hopfenherbe. - Nettes fränkisches Dunkles. (Bei größtem Durst verkostet, vielleicht etwas zu positiv bewertet.)

Moderately bitter and mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready dark malty and slightly toasted taste with notes of caramel; lingering moderately bitter and slightly mineralic finish with a tail of caramel. 19.XI.16

Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Hearty, slightly draffy malt character with caramel, mildly fruity accents and notes of herbal hops from the middle part, leading into quite lasting malty and rounded bitter hoppy finish. 19.XI.16

Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim dark malt character with present smokey notes of smoked ham and sausages, mineralic accents; smokey, moderately bitter hoppy and slightly buttery malty finish. Solid. 19.XI.16

(tap at the brewpub) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a creamy off-white foamy head. Distinctively banana-fruity aroma, slightly greenish and mildly phenolic with a moderate wheat character. Slightly bitter and delicately sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Dry and slightly mineralic taste with notes of green bananas and shades of cloves; dry, mildly bitter and slightly sour-tart finish. Average. 19.XI.16
