Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Tuesday 4th July 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music currently playing My Bloody Valentine - What You Want and thinking of cooking a Thai Pork Stir Fry with Noodles. Pours hazy yellow gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little soapy hoppiness, a little grainy, moderate sweetness, it's fine, but nothing special.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a foamy head. Elderflower, fresh grain, hay and malt, bread, tangerine, stone fruit. Dry bitterness, grainy malty fruity finish. Medium to light bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy grainy bready finish. A very nice Zwickel, very grainy with a good crisp hoppy backbone.

Bottle that I picked up from Aldersbacher brewery and consumed at home Sunday 11th June 2023 after a walk to Hotel Ostermeir, Gütlsdorf, listening to Tom Robinson on 6Music - I had Salmon and Cream Cheese stuffed Conchligone tonight and a nice homemade coleslaw. Pours mid copper with an off white head. A little toffee, nuts, roasty with an underlying bitterness (though low in intensity) pretty good.

Bottle at Waldwirtschaft Bienenheim, Lochausen Saturday 25th May 2023. Pours clear gold, white head, middling carbonation. Taste is a little buttery (diacetyl) just noticed bottle is out of date by more than 2 months. Not great.

On tap *I think, at Vesperia, München, Wednesday 29th March 2023 we have a Billy Nomates gig tonight at Strom München. Pours hazy yellow/light amber with a white head. Very banana in the mouth, really soft carbonation, a light yeastyness and spice kick. It's very good.
