Black pour, small off white head. Aroma is obviously smoky, earthy, lots of wood, hints of coffee, and some bitter cocoa powder. Mouth feel is thin, like I would expect from a lagered ale, with a soft carb. The finish is more woody smoke, notes of bacon come through with more earthy barrel and campfire. Low to medium bitterness and some soy in the end.

2015 vintage. Jet black, dark mocha head. Rich, Internet roasty Aroma. Burnt, charred malts. Some solid hops, loads of cocoa, and some soy with subtle dark fruit. Some alcohol comes through and warms in the mouth feel. The body is thick and viscous, with a soft carb. The finish is incredibly roasty, with a subtle sweetness and a a medium bitterness. Burnt espresso and cocoa power dominate the finish with a dry roasty edge. Nice stuff.

dark brown, nice large beige head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, with a nice maltiness. Flavour is hoppy, but very subtle, with a nice caramel. Wow, this is a great session beer, crisp, and flavourful, i could drink this all night!

Pounder can for 1$ off clearance rack. Pour is slight haze on light orange tinted pale. Nice head fades to pond scum. Nose is alarming thick hop perfume; slight diesel, slight BO. First big gulp is viscous mouth coating crappy bitter hand soap. Terribly on style, hehehh. Difficult for any lager lover. Bitterness sets in the back of the throat and won't go away, its like the back of my tongue cannot be rinsed of this acrid character. After a few more gulps I'm hoping the alky in this will dull my senses a little so I won't mind it's terribleness. In the middle I keep drinking, whew, what a master blaster this is to my girlie lager loven taste buds, whew, whew whew. Am I drinking pine sap tar reduced with turpentine? Not sure, but I bet this tastes like that. In the end I'm thinking this is punishment; simple painstaking, paltry, putrid, panicky, paradoxical punishment. Glad I got 16 ounces of this such that I'm getting a little dizzy towards the end of this 7+ alky brew. Finishes with a wicked whiny wonky. weird whack to the brain and taste sensations. Go figger; a tick to resent for quite a while. There, you have it. Just like any other million straight away rude ass IPA out there. Please, somebody give me an ice cold cheap pale american macro lager to chase this with!

Aningen disig bärnstensfärgad vätska med medelhögt krämigt skum. Doft och smak av aprikos, persika, tangerine, tallskott och mango. Maffig men ändå balanserad med relativt snäll beska med resin och citrusvita. Riktigt bra västkust-Dipa.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. (canned 10/09/24) A bit hazy orange with a small white head. Sweetish with citrus, pine, passionfruit, grass and mild malt. Bitter finish.

Taster showing dark brown with no head.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of adzuki and light soy sauce.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied but oily. Toasted maltiness and light adzuki with a very mild hoppy bitterness.

From tap at Barcade, New York. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, orange, light weedy dankness, some grapefruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitterness. Decent easy IPA.
