Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

The beer is a dull yellow, maybe medium yellow. Quite cloudy, though not opaque. Small white head. Fades after a minute. The aroma is full of wheat flavor. Fruity, sweet grain character. Some wheat spice. Raisins, a little banana, vanilla, dough, bread. Lots of flavor. Fairly sweet. Finish mostly cleans things up. A little too much funny fruitiness, still. Medium full mouthfeel. Nice enough but sweet.

The beer is an orangey yellow. The liquid is fairly hazy. Nice white head. Fine bubbles. Good retention, some lacing. The aroma is quite tropical with citrus and a little pine backing it up. Tangerine, lime, pineapple, mango, papaya, raspberry, grape. Little to no malt character. Lots of hop flavor. Moderate bitterness. Medium dry. Light, fresh grain sweetness, just some simple malt sugariness. Fairly crisp, light mouthfeel. Easy to drink.

Mini Copenhagen bimble with rlgk and _Angst_. Mikkeller Vik. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light smooth creamy malts. As with the other Cellarmaker hoppy offerings tonight - the hops are notable skunky with smooth pine and a little hop spice. It goes down very easily indeed, very smooth DIPA.
