Bottle sample at Funk Asheville 2015. Hazy to cloudy golden amber color, white head. Huge strawberry aroma. Softly sour fresh strawberry flavor on a background of decent barnyard funk. One of the best at the festival.

Bottle sample. Clear golden color, white head. Very fruity aroma and flavor, like tropical citrus. Not sure I know what a paw-paw is, but there’s a drawing of one on the label. Tasty beer.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending! Paw paw tick! Pours a murky, dull yellow appearance with a cream colored head. The aroma has funk, cheese, cobwebs, lemon, vanilla, and kiwi. White wine, apples, kiwi, pineapple, cheese, yogurt, lemon in the flavor. Juicy and tropical fruity. A little too sour for my preference but overall, it’s very enjoyable. I would buy this again. Crisp dry lingering paw paw finish.
