750mL bottle. Pours black with minimal beige head. Aroma has bourbon, wood, coffee, almonds, marshmallow. Mouthfeel is pretty thick. Flavour has bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow. Very intense, not exactly coordinated, but also not a punch in the mouth. Enjoyable to drink.

Dark brown, inky, no head. The aroma has a lot of elements, hazelnut, almond, coffee, coconut. It's relatively thick, and again lots of elements competing. It's not that it doesn't come together, it's just that some elements come out well and some do nut. There's bitterness from the cassia, there's hazelnuts, and there's a little coconut and vanilla. I won't sweat the missing pieces, just liking the alcohol splash in the finish, and a decent base to carry the adjuncts.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with almost no head. Aroma is complex and decadent, with a wonderful mix of cinnamon, coffee, cocoa, dark sugars, and mixed bourbon. Flavour has some green peppers, coffee, dark sugars, light cinnamon, a touch of vanilla, and truculent bourbon. Oily palate. Ambitious blend of ingredients. Perhaps not the most cohesive or refined mix of ingredients, but it's pretty pleasant. Good.

Hazy golden beer, thin white head. Aroma has grapefruit and bittersweet lemon. Flavour has grapefruit and grassy hop up front, pine, dry lemon, a bit of bittersweet orange. Quite floral and peppery in the finish. Crisp, refreshing and pretty punchy.

Keg at CW Bermondsey. A mild haze on this orange beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Tart, never acid. A spot of lemon sherbet. Light sweet grape on the end. Tidy sour.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A light hazed pinkish orange coloured pour with a halo of pinkish head. Aroma is tart and pinkish fruit, lacto sour, fuzzy peach, woody, nectarine, clean sour. Flavour is composed of mid pucker, sharp, prickly, sharp lemon, lacto, underripe fuzzy peach, nectarine, citric acid,. Drying finish. Palate is super sharp. Prickly, highish carbonation.

Single from Appalachian. Pint glass at home in between gardening & mosquito bites. Canned 4/28/24 Murky, hazy pour; weak head. Mild banana & clove, odd earthy tomato, boring breakfast cereal nose. Spiced, black pepper, browned banana & rye bread. Lovely zingy acid that delivers a pinch of sharp & minerally bitterness. Salt. Finish is a lingering dull black pepper & earth. Bittersweet. Clove-y esters are kept in check, which to me is a good thing. Nicely crispy, yeasty but still pretty thin. Barely sweet, it dries out on the finish. Tasty.
