On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance with a khaki head. Caramel, slightly burnt malty nose with dull, piney hops. Medium body. Medium sweetness. Pretty spicy, piney hops. Pretty clean but simple and kind of boring.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a fairly cloudy golden orange appearance with a thin tan head. Aroma has a lot of bubblegum and banana but not overdone like many American examples. Smells nice with light floral notes. Low bitterness. Banana, lemon, yeasty flavor. Wow, this one is pretty fucken good. 1 in 5 American-made German Hefeweizens is worthy of my time. This is one of them. Cheers!

Draught at the brewery, 7.3% ABV
Hazy deep blond color with creamy head. The aroma has some hop, animal character, straws, biscuity malts. Lean but soft mouthfeel; the malt flavor is quite nice, then complemented by a good hopping; light residual sweetness; a bit astringent in the final.
Nice.

Cloudy blond color. The aroma is quite spicy, coriander and then some clove. God body strength; the flavor is rather spicy as well, there is a mix of coriander, clove and anise; the rye is giving some character too. Good bitterness level, with just some hop resins in the final.
Nice.

Amber color, clean. The aroma is a bit dusty and yeasty, not too far from British bitters. The mouthfeel is dry; caramel flavor with some vegetables touch, light yeast presence too; correctly bitter.
Could be an English Bitter, nothing exceptional.

Muddy blond color. Cloves dominate the aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth, there is enough wheat character, and even more clove and banana; moderately sweet.
Nice.
