Shaker pint draft at the Deep Ellum Brewing Co. in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is sour citric lemon along with some grass. The taste is the citric acidic lemon sour, along with some off notes. The dates are present, mixed in with a general dirtiness towards the back. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and finishes a bit flat with more of the sour acidity. Fun beer, enjoyed the experiment.

Shaker pint draft at the Deep Ellum Brewing Co. in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is tangerine citrus along with some resin and a bit of biscuit malt. The taste is the bright fresh tangerine citrus hop along with an edge of resin and some malt character towards the back. The palate light bodied, bordering on thin, with prickly carbonation and the dry hop finish. Easy drinking.

Clear light amber and copper coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pure resinous and floral hops with some light citrus, a touch of sugar and some pine as well - nice and fragrant. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent hop flavour at first that dies relatively quickly and shows some resin, white grapes, pine and mostly floral elements and almost no malt at all. Aftertaste shows some grain, pine, earth, pineapple and kick of grass at the tail end. Overall, a pretty mellow beer that shows a lot of nice aromas, but develops nothing in the flavour at all near the end - interesting to try, but not really worth trying, unless you like fresh hopped APA style beers with no depth nor complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Spec’s Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$2,62 sampled at home in Washington on 23-November-2015.
