Bottle from Lawson. Nice nose. Good crisp hops, herbal, light citrus, crackery malts. Deep golden, bit of orange, tall, bubbly head. soft, quite lovely malts, bready, full, sweet but not too much. nice hops too. Full, smooth body. good bitterness. Very nice lager beer. Subtle, crisp, highly drinkable. Am I in Munich?

Can from 7-11. 2015 edition that is a deep gold with a thick head of foam with solid staying power & good lacing. The nose is sweet, grainy, syrupy caramel. Not really like an English Bitter which is what I was expecting. It has a medium body and a slick mouthfeel The taste isn’t half-bad a touch of chocolate, grainy, some graham and bitterness. You don’t get the 6% but it is fairly plain and boring.

Veel lekkerder dan vorig Chinees bier uit blik. Echte pilssmaak.

Can. Crystal clear, deep golden color with a very high, creamy, fine head. Nose is quite malty, biscuits, bread, light floral and orange hop. Rich, creamy, malts. Sweet biscuits with lemon, orange, and grass. Nicely bitter finish. Creamy, full body. Decent. Malt character seems a bit richer and fuller than usual, though it is not hugely different. Pretty good for an industrial pils.

Can from 7-Eleven, on my way home. Has usual wet cardboard and wet malts aroma. Taste is not that bad, feels somewhat artificial but at least has strong body. Not offensive, can drink it but well, not really enjoyable.

500ml can into glass. Can says brewed in China. Sweet nose, not bad. Pale yellow with big billowing head. Neutral taste, not a lot going on. Aftertaste is chemical and something (egg? Rusty nails? Custard?)

A nice looking beer with a clear amber & big foamy beige head. The nose is grainy malty somewhat cloying just like many major English Browns I have had though I don't care for it so much. The mouthfeel is slick on a medium body. The taste is malty caramel, nutty & ok. It is ok but the rest of the series was better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Made to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau’s arrival in Japan. This pseudo-beer pours a handsome purplish-red that evokes it’s namesake capped with a pinkish-white fizzy head of foam which does in fact leave some lacing behind. The nose is a tart, definitely wine-like fruitiness that isn’t half-bad. It is fairly thin bodied with a somewhat artificial character to it(no big surprise there) but once again the flavor is decent - cassis, grapes, semi-sweet with a dry finish. My biggest complaint is it seems to be too gassy. Not too shabby for something of this sort
