The aroma is absolutely nothing. Good job! Has a soft yellowy-gold body with no head. Dad would be proud. Flavour is floral hops like the potpourri your mom put in the basement (aka Dad's man cave) and it all just creates this ugly mess that's like the place has never been properly approached by one of your family's numerous Phillipino cleaners. Mouthfeel is full enough with some crispness. This is a bad lager, but that's what they set out to do, so.... it's good? Or just, why bother in the first place?

On tap at the brewpub, listed as 4.3% abv and IBU20. Smells of very soft molasses and brown sugar. Has a darker brown body and soft white foam that is gone too fast. Flavour is a very awkward mix of watery malts that really tastes like a newspaper from 1986 Soviet Russia dropped in a fishtank and then used as an ashtray. Mouthfeel is way too watery for what it purports to be, no sharpness nor crispness, the people who designed this should be sent off to the gulags. All of this is bad it is just not a good sales pitch for dark beer. James Caan in his 1981 epic Thief had a good sales pitch in that diner scene; this isn't on the same level.

Smells of very soft coffee notes with malts of bread descent showing up later to join the party, mostly drunk, mostly just looking at their phones. Has a darker clear brown body and a vague off-white head that dissipates too fast. Flavour is sweet malts, vague hints of coffee. Mouthfeel is full enough and quite sweet. This is rather weak but at least it's an amber-y kind of amber ale.
