Description

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, amber golden with some impurities and a tall, bubbly and lively, off-white head. Medium body with fairly sweet malts and fruit. Rather discreet bitterness. A very mellow Tripel - and somewhat unspectacular. 271207

Bottle, 7.5%. Good, refreshing, citric aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is citric in a lemony way, refreshingly fruity and sour with a hint of plastic. Flavourful, refreshing and good. 7 3 8 3 17 ZBF08. Weak malty aroma. Sweet flavour, flat not too lively. Grey chestnut amber colour. Small head. Too sweet flavour, sugary. 5 3 5 3 10

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Deep golden amber colour with small white head. Juniper, treenails and some spices in aroma. Similar flavour. Seems like a very experimental brew, that may need some more time to develop.

Bottle Kerstbierfestival 2007: Poured a hazy blonde with a jello white head. The aroma is spicy ginger and coriander. The taste was sweet sugary with a cereal taste as well. Not bad, but not note worthy either.

Good stable yellowish/orange head over clear pale-copper beer. Sweet-ish nose, a bit spicy (ginger), toasted. Arachide, ginger, peppery flavours without being overly spicy. Lots of restsugars, even liquorice. I do not get the orangepeel, sorry. Medium bodied, empty finish. A bit dull. To stay polite.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries and wood, with a slight acidity in the back ground. The flavor is sweet as well as acidic with notes of malt as well as strong notes of berries, and light notes of wood, which lends a dryness to the finish.
