What we work hardest at is the quality of our beer. When we heard that one of the world’s greatest breweries - Russian River in Northern California - was selling its brewhouse, we knew we had to get our hands on it. We worked night and day to raise the cash, sailed it through the Panama Canal and now it has a new home, here in London.

Pours hazed blonde. Small white head. Scent is fruity, citrus and tropical. Taste is fairly bitter, a sweet touch, malty, bit tropical, tad citrus. Easy but very gentle SIPA. Decent.

Can at Woodys. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass with a bit of straw and some light pine coming through. Flavor has grain and light flora with a bit of citrus and earthy grass supporting.

From cask at The Royal Albert, New Cross, London, with Terje at a jazz quintet concert Sunday 23.04.23. Clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head. Decent aroma and taste of pale malt, succade, and various citrus. Slightly harsh bitterness in aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the taproom. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, foamy white head. Medium sweet flavour, nice oily pine, orange peel, moderate bitterness, nips of grass, sun-kissed malts. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish, especially for the ABV, more piney resin, soft grass, dried citrus peel, hearty malts. Quite dry though. Great throwback-style gear.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the taproom. Pours clear yellow with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, clean and pithy, notes of lemon peel, grapefruit, flowers, mellow bitterness. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Dry finish, more floral hops, rindy bitterness, crisp pale malts. Very drinkable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the taproom near Netil Market. Pours totally clear honey-gold with a small, foamy white topping. Light sweet flavour, fairly clean and floral, some semi-dried citrus peel, orange, mellow pine needles, sun-kissed pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish. Drinks pretty good.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the taproom. Pours just slightly hazy yellow with a small, creamy white head. Quite dry and floral, some pithy grapefruit, lemon peel, dry pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean finish, light minerality, drying, more zesty and pithy citrus, grass, flowers. This one grew on me.
