Description
With Forest Road, what you see is what you get. We don’t have big investors. We’re not owned by a multinational corporation. We started on a tiny kit in an East London backyard, and we’ve grown through hard work.

What we work hardest at is the quality of our beer. When we heard that one of the world’s greatest breweries - Russian River in Northern California - was selling its brewhouse, we knew we had to get our hands on it. We worked night and day to raise the cash, sailed it through the Panama Canal and now it has a new home, here in London.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a loose white head; aroma of grapefruit and pine resin; chewy malt body with a grapefruit taste; and a firm resinous bitterness. A solid IPA.

330ml can via Beer52: Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at home after a four hour drive from Exeter on 14th September 2025 (after watching the Women's Rugby World Cup Ireland v France Quarter Final). Poured a hazy deep golden colour, white crust on top. Dank citrus front to the nose and taste, slightly sweeter fruits did arrive, but they buggered off again before being crushed by the dankness. 5.9% ABV, would like to try the original that hasn't been watered down for the UK market by Beer52!

Tap at patty and bun. A light hazed pale yellow straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is soft fluffy wheat, chalk, floral citrus pollen. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, flaked wheat, chalky, mellow tropicals, grassy citrus. Palate Is semi crisp, grainy, highish carbonation. Decent. Pretty straightforward.
