Can courtesy of trapped, thanks! Depp hazy reddish purple color, fluffy pink head. Big floral aroma with unsubtle black pepper. Taste is fruity and more delicate with more black pepper. Tasty and creative.

Dark brown coloured body that is almost 90% opaque that shows as a dark black, almost oily slick with a nice one centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, figs, earth, toffee, peat and a ton of tobacco and burnt coffee notes as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich lactose and roasted malt flavour with a good deal of grain and earth noticeable along with some subdued toffee and grain flavours and perhaps some oatmeal and other specialty grains. Aftertaste is more focused on the lactose, cream, milk and lighter flavours with a good sweetness and a dose of the malts hitting hard near the very end. Overall, a nice and interesting beer with a lot of flavours at first that show some more even in the dying stages of the beer with a bit of cream and toffee as well as the grains, lactose and coffee as well. Good to try and one of their beers that is worth sampling and perhaps going out of the way for, especially if you like lactose-finished products. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-February-2018 for US$2,50 sampled in my hotel room a day later on 25-February-2018.

Super pale golden coloured body with a nice, thick three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of ginger root, alcohol, light funky malts and a dose of fruits with pears, apples and mangoes all showing through. Medium-bodied; Assertive funky and grainy flavour at first with a bit of corn and specialty grains noticeable coupled with some mangoes, a lot of ginger root and some other mild spices throughout along with a dose of alcohol and bitterness from some light hops at the very end. Aftertaste shows some pungency from the mangoes and the alcohol, but the bitterness persists from the specialty grains and the mild hop notes near the finish. Overall, a decent beer with some interesting and rather assertive flavours, but the beer never really catches hold and only shines through in terms of alcohol, hops, fruit and the ginger root itself. Not really worth trying unless you love the other Kuka beers or if you love Mangoes. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 02-December-2017 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room here in New York a few hours later on 02-December-2017.
