Bottle, 355 ml at Breukelen Beer Merchants, Brooklyn. Banana and nuts in aroma and flavor. Malty. Reminds me of candy bar we have in Croatia. Feels just a bit artificial. Interesting and much better than Wells.

Very hazy golden blonde coloured body with no head at all and only a touch of yellow tint coming through. Aroma of alcohol, grain, starch and bitterness - not too pleasant. Light-bodied; Sharp alcohol flavour with grain and unfinished sugars, all with a touch of bitterness from the malt. Aftertaste shows the deep pungent malt, alcohol with a lot of bitterness and metallic notes and a funky bite at the end showing some banana and plantain notes. Overall, a beer with a flavour that I pretty much expected (from their other beers) with nothing too nice and only a funky taste finishing it off. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 08-November-2014 for US$2,00 sampled at home in Washington on 26-November-2014.

Draught. Light amber with large off-white creamy head, chocolate aroma, low carbonation, creamy taste with strong alcohol overtone, medium finish with chocolate aftertaste. Very strange stout, with a clear amber color!

Draught. Hazy golden yellow with creamy off-white head, honey aroma. Fizzy, honey taste that ends with a bitter finish, alcohol aftertaste and burning sense in throat. Strong brew.

12oz bottle pours a hazy gold with some sudsy white head. Nose is interesting, Belgiany esters, stone fruit, a little candy, a little tea like. Flavor is also a bit odd, some Dubbel notes, clove and raisin mostly, then a bit more traditional candy sweetness, followed by some earthy kombucha notes, some peach too, even a little plum. Creamy, tannic finish.

Tap at Draught 55. Pours nice orange. Nose is yeast and light slice. Tastes of Belgian yeast, nutty, oranges, nutmeg, and only faint pumpkin. Nice creamy mouthfeel. A nice beer but if you really want full on pumpkin look elsewhere.

Pours very dark brown with a generous mocha head. Aroma of fresh banana, banana bread, just banana all over the place. The flavor is sweet but not cloying in any way. No hop flavors or aromas are present. Again, lots of banana flavor. You almost loose the brown ale aspect of this but that isn’t too bad here; it pulls it off handily. Interesting beer.
