Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Roasty and fruity/hoppy with coffee, orange, some dark chocolate, roasted malt, touch of grapefruit. Nicely bitter, light sweetish, medium body. Almost a Black IPA.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Hoppy and malty with caramel, pine resin, malt, dried fruit, hint of grapefruit. Strong bittersweet flavour, resinous hop finish. Medium plus body. Good American style BW, nice hop-malt balance.

Bottle. Dark brown to black, small dense dark beige head. Some lacing. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, booze, oat, cocoa. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness, gentle warmth. Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale amber colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, irregular lacing. Aroma pale malt, grapefruit, grain, pine. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, grapefruit, piney notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, resinous notes, nice.
