Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A golden beer with small floaties and an off-white head leaving some lacings. Slightly spiced nose, pleasant, with an aroma of baked apples. Sweet, fruity flavor with white sugar and baked apples, some bitterness in the finish. Some alcohol warmth, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. A strange beer, but interesting. 091024

(bottle, 30cl) Hazy, deep golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly cara-malty nose with citric, herbal and slightly piney hoppy notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. A bit slim (cara-)malty base with fruity and slightly herbal hops; light dry-out effect towards the sweet-bitter and surprisingly hoppy finish. Likeable. 16.III.10

(bottle, 30cl, as Jubeljoop III Tripel) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and grainy cara-malty aroma with fruity notes of citrus and grapes, accompanied by a tinge of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a modest carbonation. Cara-malty and bready taste with fruity accents and shy herbal notes in the background; sweet and light to moderately bitter finish with faint hoppy notes and alcohol that cannot be hidden. 16.III.10

(bottle, 30cl) Cloudy yellow colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty and slightly sour wheaty aroma with notes of citrus and moderate spicy notes. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather soft and slick carbonation for a Wheat. Citric wheaty and yeasty taste with a tolerable note of spices; moderately dry, slightly salty and spicy finish with a light tartness. Pretty disappointing Gruit beer, works as an average Witbier. 16.III.10
