Draught at Arendsnest Amsterdam. Honey and hop aroma with biscuits, sweet melon. Deep, dark orange color. Really huge bitterness with nice pine and citrus hop flavors. Sweet honey malts. A very nice, hoppy tripel.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of wood, malt, spices, and lots of fruit, alcohol, and liquor. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, spices, malt, liquor, and wood, leading to a lightly tart finish.

Bottle at T’Arendsnest, Amsterdam 21-06-10 Pours peachy to brown and is highly perfumed with rosebuds pushing the hops into second place. This is sweet, a touch spicy, alcohol is well hidden, but its the perfumeyness that you notice mostly. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

On tap at Cafe Hesp, Amsterdam, Netherlands, 22-06-10 Pours a hazy orange with a large white head. This is a nice refreshing blond some lagery malts and hops perhaps also showing, soft in mouth refreshing, spicy late hoppiness shows. I asked who brewed this and was told that it was brewed by a brewery near the Belgian border for this cafe. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

3rd June 2010 - Brasserie 4:20 - courtesy of Alex! Hazy amber beer. A gusher! Dusty malt nose. Sweet malt, a little fruit and then a slow chili burn builds. Finishes spicy and semi dry. Not bad, quite enjoyed it!
