Draught @ Nederlands Biercafe t Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1015 BS.Light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100925]

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, citrus notes, light dried berries. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, alcohol warm finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100925]

75cl Bottle, thanks Thijs! Dark brown colour, nice creamy beige head. Aroma of sweet dark malts, chocolate, dark fruits, light hops. Flavour is sweet, malty, dark fruits, rich, chocolate, light coffee, firm bitter malty and hoppy finish. Fullbodied, slick. Good stuff.

[9/26/10] Draught at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Black-colored with a huge lovely creamy cake-shaped brown head. Roasty and slightly coffee-ish aroma. Sweet chocolaty, roasty flavor with a bit of chocolate and a bit of coffee. Medium-bodied. A nice easy-drinking Stout.

[9/25/10] Draught at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy orange-amber. Aroma of piney and citric hops. Flavor is a bit sweetish at first with malt, a bit of yeast and light fruitiness and finishes with bitter piney hops. Medium-bodied.

[9/23/10] Draught at De Wildeman in Amsterdam. Aroma of yeast, some spiciness and a bit of fruits. Sweetish fruity flavor, a bit peppery. Medium-bodied.

Bottle courtesy of steptin, thank you sir. Pale yellow, medium white head. Aroma has sulphurs that clear, then pepper and malt. Fairly average, lager-like beer.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest, shared by and with DSG and Plovmand. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, fruits, grassy hops. Flavour is rather sweet, malty, caramel, citrus, light grassy hoppy bitter finish with some grapefruit. Medium bodied. OK.
